On Saturday, 26 September 2009, over 25 guests gathered at my apartment for the very first 40/40 Vision party! We drank lots of Radeberger Pilsner, ate way too many ribs and hamburgers and took in a screening of excerpts of Ben Zeitlin's Glory at Sea. I think everyone had a great time, and it was about as low-key as fundraisers come. After six cases of beer and 10 lbs of ribs were consumed, a great time was had by all, and we raised $$$$$ for Rooftop Films. Special thanks to Nick Vranizan, head chef, and Zorina Price, assistant extraordinaire.
Join me for the nest 40/40 Vision party on Saturday, 10 October 2009 at 8:00 PM. We'll be screening excerpts of Michael Palmieri and Donal Mosher's October Country, drinkin lots of Radeberger Pilsner, and chef Nick Vranizan will be amazing our tastebuds for a TACO PARTY!!
